Summer Solstice Ride 2025
Date: Saturday, 21st June 2025
Start Time: 12:00 PM (1200hrs)
Meeting Point: Fernbank
Join us for this year's much-anticipated Summer Solstice Ride, celebrating the longest day of the year with good company, scenic cycling, and a few well-earned refreshment stops along the way. This leisurely group ride is open to all club members and friends, so bring your bike and your banter.
Route Overview:
- Depart from Fernbank at 12:00 PM sharp.
- Our first stop will be at the Walwyn Arms – a great spot to stretch the legs and enjoy a refreshing drink.
- From there, we'll make our way to the Beauchamp Arms, riding through some of Herefordshire’s finest countryside.
- Our final stop will be at the Weston Cross Inn, where we'll wrap up the day with food, drinks, and more good cheer.
Things to Bring:
- A well-maintained bike (road or hybrid recommended)
- Water, snacks, and sun protection
- Lights (just in case you're out later than planned)
- Cash/card for pub stops
Note: This ride is intended to be social and inclusive. Pace will be moderate, with plenty of time for pub chats and photo stops. No one gets left behind!
