Bike Tag: The Cycling Photo Challenge
Looking for a bit of fun on your solo rides? Fancy adding a challenge to your regular route? Join in with our community game of Bike Tag – a two-wheeled twist on hide-and-seek that gets you exploring and sharing great local spots.
How It Works:
- Someone kicks off the game by posting a photo of their bike at a recognisable location (landmark, trailhead, viewpoint, etc.)
- Your mission is to identify that location, ride there, and take a photo of your bike in the exact same spot.
- Then, it’s your turn! Ride to a new location (somewhere interesting, scenic, or unique – and rideable from Ross), take a photo of your bike there, and post it.
Rules of the Game:
- No spoilers! Don't say where the location is – let others figure it out from the photo alone.
- Photos only – no text clues or hints.
- Try to choose locations that are accessible to most cyclists in the group – think local landmarks, cafes, viewpoints, public artworks, or village signs.
- Be respectful of private property and always follow the rules of the road and countryside.
Why Play?
- It’s a great way to discover new places and routes near Ross-on-Wye.
- You’ll get out for a ride with a purpose, even if you're on your own.
- It's lighthearted, community-driven fun that anyone can join in at any time.
